Advice to His Younger Self

August 01, 2018

if you go back to your 20s what would you do differently i'd beat the shit out of myself i would absolutely i would i would i would get i would beat me half like almost to death and then i would go sit with myself in the hospital and go these are the things you're not going to do and these are the things you're going to start doing and i would say don't be so dogmatic stop worshiping gurus, learn as much about physiology as you can, and then learn more. And then after that, learn some more and never stop. I would, I'd probably finish college, I would tell myself to be more empathetic. Don't fat shame people have some empathy, understand that sometimes things are psychological for people. And it has nothing to do with that. They don't want to be that way. It's that there's stuff that's out of my wheelhouse that they need to talk to somebody about and start actually giving a shit about people. I'd say, what else would I say? Don't get on the gigantic supplement program bandwagon and learn the kinetics of how this stuff actually works and stop over giving people stuff. But that's what we were trying to do. Yeah, there's so much, man. There's so much. And stuff that I do now that I would have told then, I would have said like for general population never go under six reps they don't really need it i would say you know um aerobics aerobics aren't the devil but make sure people are using the type of equipment that allows them to do it for their orthopedic profile um i would tell myself to take more business classes and learn how money works you know there's stuff like that you know yeah don't don't burn so many bridges you know which is hard for me some good life lessons there Thank you.

Yeah.
