Objective Measures of Stress (HRV/BP)

March 03, 2019

How do do they tell tell science that they in that uh sympathetic world and they not having enough parasympathetic so you've got look you've got subjective is good and you know an objective measurement so so subjective is how do i feel objective is what are the numbers quantifiable data so the first thing that's going to go up is going to be your heart rate so if you're resting heart rate or you're waking we like waking heart rate because you you haven't gotten out of bed you haven't stubbed your toe on something you haven't screamed at your kid you know you you there's nothing that should have falsely elevated your heart rate so that that's before you rub one out you wouldn't that's before yeah you don't want to rub one out because that's going to jack up your yeah damn mine's always like 120 and i can't put it yeah like our our morning routine is we have clients and this is you know there's a compliancy issue too so you have to work on this like my ideal thing if somebody wakes up they put on the blood pressure cuff we use the omron bp 7000 we put that on put your chest strap on put it on elite hrv and within three minutes you have your blood pressure heart rate and your hrv you go take a shit in the piss or whatever you do and then maybe for some clients they take fasting blood sugar you know we we try to get them to do as much as we can but you don't want to over complicate things if you over complicate then they do nothing yeah but as we see what the trends are over time and the majority of the people that come to us they're hyper tense stage one or stage two or higher so we've got guys we were sitting in a seminar in london and we had 60 people in the class and only three people had gold like world club gold standard gold standard that's the one like thank you only three people had gold standard blood pressure and it was me and two other guys and the two other guys if you want me to ask 115 over 75 it's gold standard if you hit 120 over 80 that's pre-hypertension yeah you used to be gold standard but now it's that They did.
