Performance Nutrition vs. Fat Loss Mindset

August 10, 2020

And everyone always nails that women are told to eat 1200 and guys are told to eat like this. And I get it. If you're, if you're lazy and you don't train 1200 calories, maybe for you, but the minute you start training, you have to support that. Right. Um, and the more you train, the more you have to eat because you've got to support that. So we actually don't even talk, uh, at, at the Institute of physical culture or what we teach. We never talk about fat loss and nutrition and we don't talk about muscle building nutrition we just call it performance nutrition and so if we call it performance nutrition it changes and reprograms the client's thought process of what they're doing with their food they've got to eat enough to support what they what they want to do right and then if we want to lose weight then yeah we need to be in a deficit but we need to calculate their calories on all the stuff they're doing first and then create a deficit on the top of that yeah that's so good so the performance institution that's a question we have down i love that but even when it comes to the training so someone's come in they they train every day it could be the typical person that goes to f45 or whatever and just like to smash themselves every day and and that endorphin rush and you're pulling them down but i love that where you're you're still matching their mindset we're going to train hard but you're kind of just giving them enough volume that the body can handle so if you program say that type of person typical type of person loves to cut their calories in half and tried to do twice

as much. Are you still putting two or three normal weight training days in, which is again, might be a bit low intensity, and then the days in between, are you putting that dead circuit? How do you program that out?
