Sustainable Fat Loss vs. Rapid Transformations

February 18, 2021

Yeah, 100% man, slow and steady to me wins the race. Now, you got to keep that in context. Because when you look at the literature, it's pretty clear that if you go really fast, it tends to be more effective. But then when you look more into the literature, they're using obese subjects. Okay, most of my clients aren't that aren't that fat, they're just a little fat, they want to look a little bit better. So there's no reason for them the rush things at the start when we could just have small pockets of rushing and then long pockets of cruising. And it tends to work a lot better and you get a lot less dysfunction, a lot less psychological issues and food, strange food issues and strange exercise addictions and things like that. And then you can work on fixing a lot of things at the same time, like, you know, building certain body parts up. So you have a nice finished product, getting rid of pain, getting rid of dysfunction, moving better, feeling better, getting stronger, get, you know, there's a lot of different things you can work on other than just always focusing on fat loss, which is what 98% of people focus on. Yeah. And even mental fatigue as well. That's one thing that I try and say, like the mental fatigue of dieting and dieting and running these, and we're going to touch on that kind of stuff later of how we can maybe get ourself out of this fat loss phase. And, but the, from a mental fatigue standpoint, like it's just, it's, it gets hard. You get almost into a um i use this phrase a lot you almost get used to feeling shit and it's like you're you're you're you're almost your um psyche is just to feel shit because that's how i'm supposed to feel and then when you pull out of a fat loss phase whatever it is you go oh my god what's going on train performance sex drive energy mood everything all starts to go in a positive direction which is probably what we should be feeling and most of the time anyway it's insane
