Bodybuilding vs. Athleticism
September 25, 2025
And I've always been of the opinion because this will relate to you because we're both athletes. We've both been real, like realizing bodybuilding to me, not, not, not a sport. It's not athlete sport. It's an activity, it's physical, it's massively psychological and mental fortitude. And to me, the physical aspect of bodybuilding is like the easiest part. Building muscle and getting really lean is a really basic process. Being able to build high levels of muscularity and have the mental fortitude to starve yourself to get lean lean enough to get on stage That a massively mental psychological you have to be mentally tough for that but you don't actually have to be physically tough to be a bodybuilder. And you can say the same thing with powerlifting, like getting really sharp with powerlifting is not rocket science. There's no athletic endeavor. There's physical endeavor to those, but there's no athletic endeavor. There's agility involved there's no deceleration re-acceleration there's no vertical jump that's necessary for that there's no hand-eye coordination it's pretty easy stuff but that's probably why bodybuilders and powerlifters should be doing a little bit of athletic stuff to try to retain some type of movement um
