The Role of GDAs and Cellular Energy

August 18, 2025

and then we got into gdas and largely why you know now we're just like arming the insulin postman with a fucking sledgehammer but the door is still fucking closed it's not going into the cell that way bro like what would you learn in in bodybuilding you say okay you have high blood take gdas yep but my so my question now is why is the sugar high the cell doesn't want the sugar this that's the problem the cell has enough energy it doesn't want anymore it's trying it's trying to run through its processes and make more room so then you give a gda which slams it in there and there's always a consequence to everything you do both positive and negative so the with if we're going to go into physiology lesson like look at you it's it's looking at insulin resistance not as a bad thing necessarily but as a protective like a protective mechanism which is a good thing but it's it depends on the situation right so like post-workout insulin resistance is different than if someone's just morbidly obese and insulin resistant because someone who's morbidly obese can't manage the flow of energy so they have to put it somewhere else so fat cells right we're going to pop it there there is and that's what coaches have to understand is you have everything's on a continuum like the body isn't black and white it's 50 shades of gray so you can have a pathology on one side of the continuum and the other side of the continuum on one side it's actually a bad physiological response the other side it's an inevitable positive response but this is all the reverse engineering this is the taking things apart putting them back together again i've got high blood sugar okay but why where's it backing up where's it meant to go where do we want it to go you know all all that kind of stuff is super important
