AI, Automation, and Future Meaning
September 08, 2025
Man you know I bring up another topic something that really scaring the shit out of me Like I like all the AI stuff I think it cool It actually now that I learning how to use it it making me work faster with the stuff that I not very good at But what's going to happen when AI gets to the point where we have robots doing all the menial jobs? And I suppose they're going to put people on, like, a universal income. what's going to happen with people who the only thing they had in their life was their job, even if it was just a menial job. You worked at McDonald's at the front counter, and now it's all robots and shit. Like, what are you going to do? Because you have nothing. Like, you have no hobbies. You have no passions. I'm hoping people develop the ability to find something that they're passionate about to actually fill their time. But this is another thing now, because that's not instilled in them from a young age, because they're told that you need to go out there and get a job and be successful. That's all it means to live? No. So people don't have that purpose. And again, it comes from having a good role model to say, what is your purpose? Yeah, and that's the thing. Like where I'm from, the pathway to adulthood is you make good grades, you go to college, make good grades, you meet your wife, you marry your college wife, you have a lot of babies, and that's what you do. And it's like you've basically made everybody on the same path, and you haven't reinforced like learning to play the piano or learning how to draw or getting into the arts or singing or playing sports and you know you've gotten out of this giving them a pathway of what they need to be doing when they're not actually working but I guess that's part of too like like I am pro-capitalist I'm just not pro-capitalistic greed I like free trade I like the ability to trade goods and services for money and make a living that way. But again, when that gets out of balance and it only becomes that, like you've got nothing left. It's true. Well, we're going to wrap this up soon. So I want to end with one point for you then. What's your closing statement to the people listening to this? After everything we've said today, what's your closing statement? My closing statement? Yeah. It's been an hour and we could waffle on forever. I think people's attention span will probably die after this. yeah I think like man just don't be a fucking cunt just be a good fucking person don't be if you're gonna be a man don't be a toxic man if you're gonna be a woman don't be a toxic woman like just be nice to fucking people just wrap that up for me in a nice little thing what does it mean to be a good man and a good woman I think to I hate altruism and I hate selflessness to the degree where you set yourself on fire for people and people take advantage of you I think there should always be you should always give things never expecting anything back but you should always take things in an effort to now give something back and if we all just balance that out and didn't just take and give but had equal exchange or even if it's slightly unbalanced make it fair like make it fair alright perfect conclusion well guys thank you so much for tuning in to episode 7 yes I'm right that's it I will promise to do more of these and thank you for all you who do listen because it does mean a lot for me and I'm still doing my own sort of beliefs and limited beliefs and hold me back from doing this but I'm really grateful to have Luke on definitely someone who's contributed to my career as a coach a mentor and an absolutely awesome person so thank you so much for coming on and I'm going to give a closing statement you should do this because I've been on a lot of podcasts a lot of good ones and a lot of really fucking train wreck ones and you got a gift for this so you should keep doing it Thanks. I paid him for that, by the way, guys. So on that note, goodbye. Thanks for listening. Good. Cheers, mate.
