Early Lifting and Texas Football Culture
September 30, 2020
Yeah. So yeah. So I'm originally from Texas, born and raised my entire life. and uh yeah so i started lifting when i was really young um like eight years old and it's it's funny because now that more and more people are starting to look at our social um that don't really know us they find this unbelievable that someone would start lifting like seriously at eight which is weird to me but you you know you only see that in places like america and australia where people don't lift weights until they're usually a teenager but i mean it's super common in places like Russia and China and Eastern Europe. But in Texas, it's super common too because we're all getting ready for high school football. And so when people watch like Friday Night Lights and Varsity Blues, which I did stunts in. You're in that. Yeah. So they don't understand that culture. Like legit, my entire town would shut down for a Friday night football game. And there would be thousands of people in a town of under 7,000 people. Almost everybody would be at the game. Wow. And so we started lifting when we were really young to get ready for that. And so, yeah, I kind of got into it mainly because of Arnold Schwarzenegger and seeing him in Conan the Barbarian. And then I kept on with it for football.
