Monitoring Blood Pressure at Home

March 22, 2022

and you still recommend if you're relaxing it's if you're relaxing it's high you got a problem yeah yeah because people get nervous if they go to the doctor and you know it's high it could be like a false reading um is the the one that i was going to say omicron omron it's omron right that we have like the Yeah. So you can get that on Amazon, I think, or like a drug store. You just, you know, people don't know that you could actually do it at home, like with your own cuff and Bluetooth and stuff like that. Yeah. You can go to Walgreens, CVS, you get, I think it's 70, 80 bucks. Um, the Omron Evolve, I think it's HM 7,500. I think it was, that's the one that's black. It's just, just the cuff. Yeah. So we're, we're beyond the days where you need a little machine with a tube and the thing. You just put the cuff on, sit there, sit in a relaxed position for five or 10 minutes, You want to make sure that your arm is supported and you want to make sure that the blood pressure cuff is, is at the same level as your heart. And then, um, you also want to make sure I don't have my cuff on me, but make sure that when you bend your elbow, that the cuff is, is pretty much touching your forearm and you just sit there and hang out. Don't get on Facebook and start arguing with people. Just stay calm and then hit the button. Boom. You're good. That's it. So you got to do super simple. I remember the, like in college when people, I don't know if it was like the YMCA test or whatever, where we had to do like blood pressure with the squeezy thing tube and have to remember like what you bring it up to. And it's higher during exercise. Yo, I can never say it. The sphincter. Yeah. Why can't we just call it that? So when will the course be out? We're hoping in maybe two weeks. I think Tuesday is always finishing up the edits on the videos, cleaning up the slides, making sure the slides look nice.
