Peaking for a Photo Shoot

getting back to like with the dieting part too because a lot of people were always wondering what i was eating like the the four weeks leading up to the show as if that's what transformed me and i think it's it's getting an idea of like how low did you know to take me and how do you know when to bring calories up what are you looking for in that sense well a lot of it you got to look at how the pieces of the puzzle fit together. Right. So it's like, okay, we can, we can always keep pulling calories, keep pulling calories. As long as you have at least micro nutrients, you need, you need enough protein to then hold on the muscle tissue. You need enough carbohydrate to fuel workouts. Fat at that point, doesn't really matter all that much, which is why we had your fat fairly sitting low for a while. Um, as long as you have essential fatty acids, that's all you really need at the very end. Um, but definitely you don't want to go low carb because then you go to train and you train like shit and you have no energy. Um, you absolutely don't want low protein. So, um, we, I think we got to a point, I think we were three or four weeks out. And at that point you had been doing a lot of conditioning and I was like, you know what, we're just going to pull the conditioning out, only lift weights. And we're going to bring the calories back up because we were using a lot of the, uh, the conditioning as a caloric funnel. Um, and I was like just keep doing your steps because you like doing like 20 fucking thousand steps today i don't know and then i think at one point i told you you need to calm down on that but you get to a point where you don't want to diet all the way to the event you want to make sure that you are there a couple few weeks ahead because you want to try to feed into a photo shoot because if you don't you're going to look stringy and gross so the whole point is to be like okay let's let's get there as early as possible. That way we can remove all the output. If I remove that, we don't actually have to raise calories because you've, you've actually raised calories by reducing calories out. And then maybe we can pump the calories up a little bit, especially carbs, because if you don't have carbs for significant period of time, anything you're, you're, you're not bringing in your body's going to stop producing the enzymes needed for that because the body's always wanting to save energy. And this is a big mistake that a lot of girls make is they're on low carb for six months, they get to, you know, six, seven days out, and then they start trying to load carbs, all the enzymes that they need to store carbs as glycogen and make them look nice and full, their body's not making it anymore, or not as much, it tones it down, because the body's like, well, I don't really need all this. So I just won't make it anymore, because that costs energy, and I'm in an energy deficit, the body's like, well, how do I save energy? Let's stop making this and this and this and this. So you're better off adding carbs back in and feeding into a photo shoot so that you can actually fill back out. And you see, you'll go to see that a lot of these girls look real stringy on stage and then they'll start eating Maccas and they'll start eating a bunch like the hamburgers and fries They trying to get enough sodium and fat to try to create some type of fullness And they usually just they usually just end up spilling over and softening up and then they can get it off when they get on stage Yeah Yeah
