Australian Regulations and Supplement Restrictions
March 22, 2022
well because you guys just got through rainy season so you haven't been outside that and you know what um because of the high rates of cancer here because the uv index is so high and you in at least in queensland um you can't go to a tanning salon they're illegal like a traditional solarium you can you can own a tanning bed but you can't do it commercially and it's crazy fines like this uh i just read a thing a couple weeks ago these guys got caught they were in a warehouse and they had like three tanning beds and they got caught and it was something like a 1.5 million dollar fine it's like 500 000 fine for each unit that you have like it's nuts craziness that's like getting arrested for like happy endings but you own like a tanning tanning salon but but you know that's that's totally legal here completely legal brothels are legal like you can go get a tie massage and get a rub and tug after it completely legal, but you can't get in a tanning bed. But you can go outside in the sun with uncontrolled, brutal UV radiation, but you can't do it in a controlled environment because of melanoma. File under everything that makes zero sense in Australia. Yeah. Well, and then they make it worse too, because when I tell clients, when they go get their labs done, I'm like, look, I want you to put vitamin D on here. And then some other things for vitamin D conversion, the doctors won't do it because they already know that everyone's so deficient in vitamin D or that they don't even test it, but then they don't allow you to really buy it either. Like you can only buy 1000 IU vitamin D. So it's just, it's, it's a crazy, it's a crazy nanny state stuff that we deal with over here. But I think Australia like has conversations with Canada as who can be more ridiculous in their supplement restrictions. Yeah. Or even like melatonin. Melatonin is now over the counter. That used to be prescription. You can get homeopathic melatonin, it doesn't do anything. But if you want actual melatonin, you can get it over the counter now, but only if you're above the age of 55, because apparently only they need it. So if I wanted to go get melatonin I have to go to the doctor because I not a citizen I have to pay to see the doctor And then I have to buy a bottle of two milligram 30 tab melatonin And so I have to just order it from the States and hope it gets in gets clear as customs. So if you're a 54, there's no chance, no chance. So you gotta like, uh, you gotta go, you gotta go to the grocery store and say, Hey, um, excuse me, excuse me. Hey, can, can I give you a fiber to go in there and get me some melatonin? Like, it's like a real shady. next time I have to take out a loan to FedEx you guys a package I'll try to include some melatonin the fees to literally FedEx across the world it's like crazy yeah I mean it balances out because then you have cinnamon toast crunch for at least a year oh man that's so good I just I inhaled all of that too and all of it um
