The Necessity of Long-term Coaching Contracts

February 11, 2023

yeah yeah i just like and if you you go to a coach you're new to a coach this is why i i we changed our policy it's like you have to sign on for at six months, especially if you're a new coach. If someone like you, you're now training with us again, it's like, yeah, we don't put those type of contracts on, but if you're a new person, we don't know anything about, we make people sign up for six months minimum. And the reason is, it's going to take the first two or three months just to get you upskilled to the point where you can do what we need you to do, right? And we've got to find out what makes this person tick, and there's a lot of work. So we tell people, don't expect like us to do miracles in the first three months, your results is going to come in the last three months. And if you're, if you're asking for really big, crazy, extreme results, we're just a long-term thing. But those first couple of months is you getting used to reading your workouts, what we expect coaching your diet, all that stuff. And so people need to understand that when they go to a coach, try to keep things in perspective that that coach knows nothing about you. They've collected a lot of data. they need to go over. They need to talk with you about stuff. They don't know how hard you train. They don't know if you know how to lift correctly. They don't know if you have good nutritional literacy. They don't really think about your lifestyle. So please expect a good like four, six, maybe even eight weeks to iron all that stuff out before you expect to be seeing rapid results. Because again, this inherently is a lot of complex stuff that we will do behind the scenes that our clients don't even know we're doing like if my clients understood how much work we do with calculators and abacuses and spreadsheets and all this other shit like that me checking in on their workout every day is uh is is like that's like such a tiny to many a school thing that we're doing because everything else we're doing is based on a lot of technology our computers our knowledge research we have to research stuff you know there's a lot of shit that goes on uh so you're not just paying for a program and a diet when you actually hire a coach especially a muscle because the shit that we learn under luke is astronomical and you've heard a little bit here in this podcast it's like if you're just hoping to get a coach for a 12-week plan or you're wanting to know if you can quit or exit out or cancel coaching after four months then you're not in it for real results because real results aren't happening in four months yeah 100 and you know um you know a new client onboarding should always be at least at least six months um old client onboarding don't have to worry about that because you've already done that work but new new client on board with a new coach I would always tell them don don look at this as like a three four month transformation It needs to be about a it needs to be a six month minimum because there going to be a couple of months where we have to we at some point have to be able to connect Like, how are we communicating? How are you picking up what I'm putting down? How are you applying it? And so that takes a good amount of work and weeks to get everything, all the wrinkles smoothed out, you know?
