Building Training Capacity and Patience

January 17, 2025

Yeah. And this is exactly the thing. You need to get that technique right first and this goes back to the start with being fucking patient because amazing transformation takes time i would also argue that and enhancing a physique to that level the more that you can build up your training capacity your training i don't mean training volume in just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks but building up what you can do in that period of time like lifting more weight for more reps being able to recover faster like the more training capacity that you have, the easier it is to get lean, to stay lean, and everything just catapults from there, which all starts with getting strong as fuck, which can't happen until you get the technique right first. And technique takes time. And if you're changing your program every four weeks and changing your exercises every four, five weeks completely, you're not progressively overloading, even if the numbers on the logbooks are going up, because it's a completely different exercise. And I know you also agree with this one as well, where if someone is stuck in a plateau, they tend to think that doing more will get them out of it. So what does smarter training look like for someone who's not seeing the changes they want?
